Our
Roots

We are a First Nation, minority, woman-owned Teknion dealership based in Tkaronto, dedicated to providing commercial furniture for the places we work, live, and play—enriching diverse environments across workplace, healthcare, government, social, and community spaces. Our team brings a fresh perspective rooted in values of inclusivity, sustainability, and community impact.

Our name, “Ojiibik,” is inspired by the Ojibwe word for “root.” This concept speaks to our commitment to grounding your space in growth, respect, and purpose. At Ojiibik, we understand that spaces have a profound influence on people, productivity, and the planet. That’s why our services include more than just supplying furniture. We guide you through every step—from concept discussions to post-project evaluations and sustainability-focused lifecycle management. Additionally, we offer Indigenous Consulting services to guide you on Indigenous engagement, cultural awareness, and diversity, equity, and inclusion practices, helping companies deepen their understanding of Indigenous values and foster meaningful connections. Our goal is to help you build environments that embrace diversity and inclusivity, driven by the belief that when people feel supported, they do their best work.

Let us help you ground your business in a foundation of growth, respect, and purpose.  Welcome to Ojiibik, where every solution is crafted with intention and every impact is deeply rooted.

Source of Strength

Spaces have the power to change lives. They shape how we connect, collaborate, and grow, influencing everything from creativity to well-being. Our purpose is to support the creation of environments where people feel empowered, inspired, and valued. As a proud First Nation, minority, and woman-owned Teknion dealership, our mission is deeply rooted in community, resilience, and a commitment to progress.

Workplaces today are more than functional spaces; they are ecosystems where ideas are born, relationships thrive, and purpose is realized. We provide exceptional products that complement and enhance the creativity of designers, ensuring spaces that spark innovation, reflect organizational values, and support the people who bring those spaces to life.

Ojiibik is more than a furniture dealership; we are a partner in shaping spaces that tell stories, amplify voices, and foster opportunities. We exist to empower the design community and the organizations they serve, building environments that inspire growth, reflect identity, and create pathways for success, one project at a time.
